Every line has a beginning, a middle and an end. Every line tells a story. Lines are exciting! Especially when they travel adventurous paths on a huge white canvas. They bump into each other, cross each other, get tangled up with each other until nobody can make sense of them anymore. Result: wonderful chaos! Or art.

In Wasco, choreographer Lisbeth Gruwez and seven children between seven and twelve explore the freedom of expression with markers and paint. That’s not so different from Gruwez’ work as a dancer: drawing is dancing with other means. It enchants the space. There is rhythmic assistance: Maarten Van Cauwenberghe brings samples and grooves.
